Available flows

Choosing by problem instead of by name

Go to Use Cases if you want to pick a flow by the problem you're solving. This page is the full technical reference of the catalog — useful when you already know which combination you need, or when you need to cross-reference capabilities × flows.

How to read this page

The table below shows every available flow and which capabilities each one includes. Use:

  • when the capability is part of the flow.
  • when it is not.
  • The flow name is the exact value to be sent in the API's flow field.
  • Each capability in the header links to the capability's reference page.
Surface availability

Not every flow runs on every surface. Flows that involve Smart Revalidation only run on Web and SDK. The other capabilities run on SDK, Web, and API.

Behavior notes

The idunico* family

The idunico* flows (idunicodocs) are variants of the id* family without Risk Score. Use them when your integration does not require the probabilistic fraud score and you want to avoid the Risk Score step entirely. All other capabilities (Liveness, Identity Verification, Document Capture) behave identically to their id* counterparts.

Document reuse

Flows that include Document Capture & Reuse support documents from multiple countries. See Document Capture & Reuse for the full list of supported document types per country.

Smart Revalidation availability (idsmart)

The idsmart flow uses the Smart Revalidation capability, which only runs on Web and SDK.
