Known issues

  • Release build fails but debug works — likely an obfuscation issue. Review ProGuard/DexGuard rules.
  • Versions 5.48.0 and 5.49.0 — incompatibility with R8 (fixed in later versions).
  • Updating from 4.3.x to 5.x.x — Maven repository and dependency name changed. Refer to the migration guide.
